PRODUCT OVERVIEW
These are the outdoor brothers to the JBL Stage Architectural Series offering ceiling and wall-mounted speaker systems, the JBL Stage XD Series are all-weather speakers are designed for both outdoor and indoor use and are intended to be particularly flexible mounting solutions and high-dynamics sound.
Sustainable speakers
The JBL Stage XD Series models are the first repairable, IP67-certified outdoor speakers on the market. The vast majority of outdoor speakers are unserviceable. Meaning that often you cannot open the cabinets to service, or even if you were able to open the hood, replacement drivers and crossover parts are unavailable individually. These speakers are engineered to be disassembled and driver and crossover can be repaired or replaced, if they become damaged by weather or extreme use.
We think that’s a great move to improving products especially at reasonable price levels. Outdoors and the Ohio winters are a rough neighborhood for any outdoor speaker. Having service options is a welcomed engineering and marketing direction.
