If you install a wireless repeater with hopes of extending your WiFi range your problems have just begun. The problem comes when you leave the back yard, take your phone or laptop back inside to the other end of the house. The device will stay connected to the outdoor repeater. You will be thinking… “what happened, I came inside and I lost the WiFi?”
Mesh networks are the solid solution. Yes, they cost more. But they don’t come with headaches.
